The TalkAurora installation file is only 4MB in size. A simple setup wizard will guide you through the process of installing TalkAurora on a Windows-powered computer. Once the installation is done, to start using TalkAurora, you must register for an account. After you select a username and provide some basic info about yourself (age, gender, country, email address), you will get a password in your inbox. With the username you selected and the password you got in your inbox, you can log into TalkAurora.

If you ever used an instant messaging application before, TalkAurora’s interface would not pose any problem for you. The main part of the interface lists your online buddies and your offline buddies. At the top of the interface there are the buttons for all TalkAurora’s features and settings.

Double click a buddy and a conversation window will show up; use it to instant message with that friend. To help you better get your point across, there are a few emoticons you can use. If there are no entries in the buddy list, you can easily invite friends. Alternatively, you can join a chat room and talk with other people.

TalkAurora is free, which is a good thing. The downside is that there are several other free instant messaging applications out there that are more popular.
